where should I go this summer?

Hey, my name is christian and I'm studing here in Bueno Aires for a year and I would like to know which are the best places to go here in Argentina or near by during the summer. I have heart something about one place in Uruguay called Punta del Este. Did someone ever go there and would like to share his comments? What about places here in Argentina?

hi christian i have been to pinamar is near carilo but is so much better for going out and if you like being quite you can spend the day in carilo.

Christian, I have been to carilo (Argentina) last summer and I must say I liked it very much. It's a quiet place and there are miles of wonderfull beaches. Before taking any decicion please cheak it on the internet.

if you are looking some cultural places to visit during your stay in Argentina, you should deffinitevely go to Saltos del Mocona in Misiones (North of Argentina - There is some available info in our tourism section); while there you must also visit CATARATAS DEL IGUAZÚ, one of the greatest falls in the world.

Hi christian, I've been in Punta del Este and it's very nice. It has wonderful beaches and during the night there are three or four excellent discos and many pubs, great fun. Most people go from the bigining of january to mid january. Regarding the cost, I must say it's expensive.
On the other hand if you wont somthing cheaper you can go to Mar del Plata (Argentina). It is also nice but not as Punta del Este.
